Make up and I got off to an interesting (if not a slightly traumatic) start. The first time I wore make up I was 8 years old, it was Halloween, and I was about to go to a fancy dress party. After chasing me around the house waving a mascara wand in the air, my mum had to practically pin me to the ground kicking and screaming, just to get the stuff on my face. I hated it so much that I cried, and told my mum that if she ever tried to make me wear red lipstick again, I was going to call ChildLine. To this day, my mum is still utterly confused by my miraculous change of heart.
Nowadays, beauty is pretty much my favourite thing in the world. Whether it's make up, skin care or hair products, I just love everything about it....And every now and again my mum takes great pleasure in reminding me of the days I would run away from her if she wore eyelashes or fake tan (sorry Mum, I was obviously just very into natural beauty as a child!) Yet, I fell in love with the online community of beauty bloggers from the very first moment I discovered it. In fact, I love it so much that in July 2014 I decided to set up my own blog. It's very much in the beginning stages, but I'm hoping that soon it will be filled with pages and pages of entertaining and insightful posts. Here you can find information on product launches, reviews, beauty related chit-chat, with a bit of my day-to-day life thrown in here and there.
